Albuquerque-based branding and design firm 3 Advertising welcomes Melinda Mesibov as an agency account coordinator. Melinda is a summa cum laude graduate of the Anderson School of Management at UNM. Currently, she's teaching the agency what "summa cum laude" means.

3 Advertising wins five National Healthcare Advertising Awards

Albuquerque-based 3 Advertising earned five awards in the National Healthcare Advertising Awards competition, the oldest and largest advertising award show in the healthcare industry. Winning work included efforts for Presbyterian Healthcare Services, Presbyterian Health Plan and TriCore Reference Laboratories. 

The agency earned awards for a range of mediums, including TV, print, radio, and multi-media campaigns.

​3 Advertising wins 13 Addys at AAFNM Addy Awards, Maclay honored with Silver Medal Award​

New Mexico-based ad agency 3 Advertising won 7 gold and 6 silver Addy Awards at the 2017/18 ceremony. Winning work included efforts for agency clients Presbyterian Healthcare Services, El Vado, Farm Credit of New Mexico, High and Dry Brewing, Grinding Gears Coffee, Growth Energy and Step 22. In addition, the agency earned 11 of 30 spots in the Albuquerque 30, a compilation of the best 30 creative ideas submitted into the Addys. 

Co-founding partner and agency creative director Sam Maclay was honored with the organization's Silver Medal Award, a recognition for lifetime achievement in the New Mexico advertising industry.

Awesome staffers promoted

Albuquerque’s 3 Advertising announced three staff promotions today. Jason Rohrer has been promoted to Senior Copywriter/Creative Manager. Rohrer was previously Senior Copywriter. He has been with the agency for 8 years and has contributed to the creative development of agency clients across every business category. He previously worked at advertising agencies in Houston, San Francisco and Las Vegas.

Zak Rutledge was promoted to Senior Art Director. Rutledge was previously an art director at the agency and was hired four years ago. Rutledge is a graduate of the Southwest University of Visual Arts and has nearly a decade of experience.

Vi Nguyen was promoted to Senior Account Manager, having previously been an account manager at the agency for the last four years. Nguyen helps to guide marketing and strategic efforts for a wide spectrum of agency clients across all business categories. Nguyen is a graduate of the University of New Mexico.

Albuquerque-based branding and design firm 3 Advertising earned another Communication Arts Award of Excellence for a logo created for 505 Central, a mixed-use real estate development in downtown Albuquerque. 

The Communication Arts Typography annual features the world's best use of typography as a primary visual element in design and advertising.

3 Advertising wins 11th National Addy

Albuquerque-based design and branding firm 3 Advertising won a National Addy for a poster campaign created for online outfitter and apparel brand, Sackwear.com. The award marks the 11th National Addy the agency has won since 2006. 

The American Advertising Awards, also known as the Addys, is the advertising industry's largest and most representative competition, attracting over 40,000 entries every year in local ad club competitions.

3 Advertising wins 9 gold and 20 silver Addys, Judge's Choice Award

3 Advertising, with offices in Albuquerque and Washington DC, won 9 out of 24 golds, 20 of 42 silvers and a Judge's Choice Award at this year's American Advertising Federation - New Mexico Addy Awards. Winning work included efforts for Skarsgard Farms, Sackwear.com, Presbyterian Healthcare Services, Presbyterian Health Plan, Farm Credit of New Mexico, Silent Falcon UAS, New Mexico Escape Room and Help Heal Veterans. 

In addition, the agency earned 9 out of 30 spaces on the Albuquerque 30 list, a compilation of the best overall creative ideas submitted.
