3 Advertising Wins 12 District Addys
Albuquerque ad agency 3 won 12 district Addys this month, competing against agencies from New Mexico, Colorado, Utah, Texas and Arizona. Work created for the National Museum of Nuclear Science & History, Albuquerque The Magazine and the New Mexico Advertising Federation was recognized. 3 earned the highest number of awards for a New Mexico agency and the second-highest total for the Southwest region.

HOW Magazine, an international publication and website covering design, creativity and business, has named the website for Albuquerque ad agency 3 Advertising a “Top 10 site to see” for April 2009. “We were taken with your site - congratulations,” wrote Megan Lane Patrick, senior editor of HOW.

3 advertising wins most gold and silver addys at the 2008/9 New Mexico Advertising Federation Awards
Albuquerque's 3 Advertising won 13 gold and 22 silver ADDY awards - the most gold and silver ADDYs awarded for the night - for work entered in print, broadcast, design, collateral and direct marketing categories. This year's ADDYs had more than 400 entries from dozens of New Mexico advertising agencies, design firms and marketers. 3 also won the Advertising Works award, given for overall campaign effectiveness, for the "We love it here" campaign created for Albuquerque the Magazine.
The 2008/2009 NMAF ADDYs were judged by nationally and internationally recognized creative directors, including designer Frederic Averin, David Smith from The Republik, Tim Brunelle from Hello Viking, Charlie Hopper of Young & Laramore and Julie Bowman from Giant Noodle.
Agencies participating at this year's New Mexico ADDYs included McKee Wallwork Cleveland, Esparza Advertising, Rick Johnson & Company, Rome & Gold Creative, Vaughn Wedeen, Cisneros Design, Webb Design, TKO and Red Chair Design.
3 Advertising's Media Director Sue Lewis featured in Albuquerque Journal's Boomer Magazine
Sue Lewis, partner and media director at 3 Advertising, was featured and quoted in February's edition of Boomer Magazine in the Albuquerque Journal. The article covered the "Sandwich Generation," or the generation squeezed between older boomers and Generation X. The article is available for a limited time here.
3 Advertising earns new business, frequent flyer miles
Albuquerque-based 3 Advertising has started work on national advertising efforts for Growth Energy, a group of America's ethanol producers, as well as new campaigns for Eldorado Hotel & Spa in Santa Fe and the Heart Hospital of New Mexico.
3 Advertising wins AIGA awards
Albuquerque design firm/advertising agency 3 won a Judge's Choice and six other awards at the first AIGA New Mexico showdown. The agency's winning entries included work from such clients as the National Museum of Nuclear Science & History, Echelon, Albuquerque The Magazine, New Mexico Advertising Federation and the Hearing Group of New Mexico.
Other participating agencies included Skolkin + Chickey, Cisneros Design, McKee Wallwork Cleveland, Rome & Gold, pearsonkramer and Kilmer & Kilmer, among others.
3 Advertising wins "Best Logo" from Coupe Magazine
Albuquerque ad agency/design firm 3 won best mark from the Coupe Magazine International Design Awards. The logo was for the Medical Error Reduction Program, or MERP.
The Coupe Magazine International Design Annual features work from nine countries. The annual is on newsstands now.
Campaign for the National Museum of Nuclear Science & History earns international recognition
Recent poster work created by 3 Advertising for the National Museum of Nuclear Science & History (based in Albuquerque, New Mexico and also known as the Atomic Museum) has earned international awards from How Magazine's International Design Competition as well as press coverage from Ad Age's Creativity Magazine and Adcritic.com. The campaign will also be featured in the exhibit portion of the Communication Arts website starting December 17.
3 Advertising wins international Wolda awards for logo designs
The inaugural edition of the Worldwide Logo Design Annual, the only logo awards in the world endorsed by ICOGRADA and more than 100 other international design associations and schools, has selected 192 logos for inclusion in its international competition. Two logos from Albuquerque's 3 Advertising, Osuna Nursery and Upaya Wellness Clinic, were selected as finalists. Entries were submitted from hundreds of design firms from 43 countries.
The annual will be available worldwide in early 2009.
Moore LISTED IN NEW MEXICO BUSINESS WEEKLY’S “40 UNDER FORTY”
Strategic Director and Partner Chris Moore makes this year's Forty under 40 list in the New Mexico Business Weekly. Chris is the third partner (but not the oldest, as he'd point out) to be recognized by the publication.
