Albuquerque ad agency/design firm 3 won gold awards for branding work entered into the 2008 Graphis Design Annual. The annual features the best international branding and design work of the year. Other firms selected for inclusion include Duffy, Sandstrom, Pentagram and Turner Duckworth.

A TV campaign created by 3 Advertising for Osuna Nursery was featured in SHOOT Magazine's "Best Work You May Never See." The "Best Work" editorial section highlights the best local and regional TV campaigns from around the world.
3 earns international accolades for branding and design work
Albuquerque ad agency/design firm 3 is profiled in the new "Logo Savvy" book by Rockport Publishers. The publication, available worldwide, examines the methods of thirty-two top firms that work on client naming and branding assignments. Other featured firms include Rethink, Grey Worldwide, WOW Branding and Chen Design.
In addition, six logos created by 3 will be featured in LogoLounge Volume 4, a yearly collection of some of the best logos from around the world.
3 wins New Mexico AMA's "Best of the Best/Marketer of the Year Award" for Old Guys Rule
Albuquerque advertising agency/design firm 3 won the NMAMA's overall "Best of the Best" award for its campaign launching the e-commerce website for California-based client Old Guys Rule (www.oldguysrule.com). The campaign also won a Marketer of the Year award in the interactive category and a merit award in the integrated campaign category.
The awards are based on overall results of the marketing effort. Sales and traffic for OldGuysRule.com exceeded expectations, and the site has enjoyed a higher-than-average conversion rate.
Other participating Albuquerque advertising agencies in the NMAMA awards included McKee Wallwork Cleveland, Rick Johnson & Company, Esparza Advertising and Kilmer & Kilmer.
3 wins two National ADDY Awards
3 Advertising, located in Albuquerque, New Mexico, won gold and silver National ADDY awards for branding and identity work completed for Sackwear.com. According to the National ADDY Awards website, the advertising competition is the world’s largest. The competition receives more than 60,000 entries from 50 states.
3 Hires Account Manager Meaghan Cavanaugh
Albuquerque ad agency/design firm 3 has hired Meaghan Cavanaugh as an account manager. Meaghan will help manage client projects, including planning and strategic assignments. She has several years of advertising and marketing experience, including a previous role as marketing director for a Harley Davidson dealership, as well as ad agency experience in the categories of tourism, real estate, hospitality and entertainment attractions.
3 wins national award recognition for branding work created for Center for Prenatal Development
Albuquerque ad agency/design firm 3 won silver and bronze award recognition from the National Healthcare Advertising Awards for its client, the Center for Prenatal Development (CPD). The Silver Award was for the practice's logo and letterhead; the Bronze Award was for a print campaign effort.
The Healthcare Marketing/Advertising Awards is known as the oldest and most widely respected healthcare advertising awards competition. This year, the competition received a record 4,300 entries, making it the largest healthcare advertising awards competition in the country.
Other winning agencies include DeVito/Verdi, Hill Holiday, R&R Partners, Brokaw and Della Femina.
3 makes 28 at the 2006 Addys: 18-month-old Albuquerque Ad Agency Earns 8 Golds and 20 Silvers
3, Albuquerque’s newest full-service ad agency/design firm, won 8 gold and 20 silver ADDY awards at this year’s NMAF ADDY Awards, earning the second-highest amount of total ADDYs in the statewide competition. Work created during 2006 was eligible for judging; 3 opened its doors during the latter part of 2005.
3 won gold and silver ADDYs for work entered in print, design, collateral, direct marketing and interactive categories. Nearly 50% of the entries the agency submitted won some kind of recognition at this year’s show, which had approximately 450 entries from 35 entering agencies.
This year’s NMAF ADDYs were judged by creative directors from some of the country’s largest and most influential ad agencies, including Crispin Porter + Bogusky, The Richards Group and McKinney.
Albuquerque advertising agencies participating in the 2006 New Mexico Advertising Federation ADDYs included McKee Wallwork Cleveland, Rick Johnson & Company, Esparza Advertising, Kilmer & Kilmer, Rome & Gold Creative, Squires & Company, Vaughn Wedeen, Thielen Designs, DW Turner and Xynergy New Media.

Work from Albuquerque advertising/design firm 3 was selected for inclusion in the 2007 HOW Magazine International Design Annual. Other ad agencies, design firms and clients earning recognition from the publication include Goodby Silverstein & Partners, Cahan & Associates, TAXI, Hornall Anderson Design Works, Willoughby Design Group, Fossil, Target and Comedy Central.
